On Easter Monday . April 24 . 1916 . a group of Irish nationalists seized key locations in Dublin from the British Army and proclaimed an Irish Republic. Ninety years later . Nike released this Dunk Low Pro SB ‘Eire’ to celebrate the historic insurrection. Inspired by the colors of the Irish flag . the shoe features a white suede upper with green linen overlays and a Deep Orange suede Swoosh. It also includes an Irish Harp on the lateral heel—Ireland’s heraldic emblem—and ‘Éire’—the Gaelic word for Ireland—embroidered on the heel tab.
