Designed by Heather Lynn Haynes and launching as part of larger HBCU-inspired collection . the Clark Atlanta University x Nike Dunk Low ‘Panthers’ pays tribute to the first HBCU founded in the Southern United States. Asymmetrical color blocking is applied to leather uppers in Clark Atlanta’s signature hues: black . grey and red. Woven tongue tags display the Panthers logo . while an embroidered 1988 on the heel tab references the year that Atlanta University consolidated with Clark College. The institution’s motto — ‘Find a Way or Make One’ — is printed on the laces. The shoe’s cupsole tooling is highlighted by a translucent rubber outsole . which reveals a large Panther graphic underfoot.
